The next big music artist might have played at Lake Martin last month when the inaugural Lake Martin Songwriters Festival welcomed 17 artists to 10 venues in a five-day event.
Tallapoosa County Tourism put together the inaugural festival that featured artists at lake area hangouts from Aug. 17 to Aug. 21.
