Russell Forest Run looking for runners

And they’re off: Runners take off at the starting line of last year’s Russell Forest Run.

The Russell Forest Run will be held this year on Saturday, Feb. 26.

The event, which is sponsored by Russell Lands, will have a 10K race like last year’s inaugural race, but instead of a 1-mile Fun Run, there will be a 5K run added to the day’s schedule. The longer race will begin at 7:45 a.m. while the shorter run “will start around 8:45 (a.m.),” said Robert Gunn, who is Russell Lands’ Director of Events.
