Russell Medical Center is proud to welcome general surgeon Dr. Jon Jones to the medical staff and to congratulate Dr. Chanté Ruffin on obtaining national board certification in pediatrics.

A Georgia native, Dr. Jones called Johnson City, Tenn., home from 2005 through 2012. There, he was instrumental in the development of a transplant program at Johnson City Medical Center. At the same time, Dr. Jones served as clinical professor, department of surgery at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City.
