Dadeville native Anne Marie Jones knew there was something missing from the Dadeville downtown square. For years, friends and neighbors had expressed the desire for a quality café, where they could start their mornings with a delicious breakfast. Jones knew many others felt a similar way. Before long, family friend Rush Gavin suggested Jones purchase his building, located across from the courthouse. She did, and the ball started rolling.

Jones reached out to long-time friend Jeremy Whaley to run the business. Whaley hasmore than 25 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry and taught a class in Retail, Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of Tennessee Knoxville.
