Screen time and added sugar are big factors in health outcomes, likely more than most people realize. 

Both of these things are fine in moderation, but it's the excessive use of them that can be a cause for health concerns. Lake Martin Family Medicine’s Dr. Timothy Littmann said at one point media and content was more contained. There wasn't 24/7 news until the 1980s. In the 90s, the internet was more widespread, but it was still limited.
