The Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Department was hard at work earlier this week as it arrested a pair of men on unrelated drug charges.
On Monday, Frederick Clayton Chewning, 32, of Auburn, was arrested for multiple drug charges, including possession of a controlled substance. According to court documents, Chewning was allegedly found to be in possession of more than 8 but less than 28 grams of cocaine or a mixture containing cocaine.
