Cliff Williams / TPI The Kowaliga Volunteer Fire Department donated an ambulance it no longer used to the Elmore County Technical Center. It will be used by public safety students to get an idea of what is like to treat patients in the ambulance environment. The drive train will also be used by the diesel technology program so they learn more about maintenance on motors.

Thanks to the Kowaliga Volunteer Fire Department, the students now have an ambulance for a lab. Students in diesel technology will learn how to service and maintain a diesel engine and transmission. Students in public safety will have an ambulance to experience real life saving scenarios in the confines of an ambulance.
