(The Center Square) — A Connecticut children's hospital has agreed to stop offering pediatric "gender affirming care" after reaching a settlement with the Department of Justice following an investigation.

Under the settlement, announced on Wednesday, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center has agreed not to perform "sex-rejecting procedures"  on minors — including by administering puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones to and performing surgeries on children and adolescents, the DOJ said in a statement.
