Just because new Tallassee High School agricultural teacher Amanda Bell is from up north doesn’t mean she doesn’t know about agriculture.

Submitted / TPI Amanda Bell is the new agribusiness teacher and FFA advisor at Tallassee High School. She follows Dr. Daniel Free who will still help with ag classes while also heading the career tech program.

Bell grew roots in the soil of rural Connecticut. She is now filling the shoes of Dr. Daniel Free in Tallassee as he takes over the career tech programs at Tallassee City Schools. Bell was an intern for Free when she was doing her student teaching while earning a masters at Auburn University. She recognized some of Free’s traits in the classroom and wants to continue them.
