Franc White, 85, producer of the syndicated Southern Sportsman television show died June 6, 2012 at his home in Hookerton, N.C. Mr White was born July 20, 1926 in Goodwater, Alabama, to the late Francis P. White and Ruth Smith White of Goodwater, Alabama.

His grandparents were the late David Marion White and Annie Pope White, and the late Olin Theodore Smith and Linnie Crew Smith, pioneer families in Coosa County.
