Hal Dwight Beckham, Sr., age 85, (born November 15, 1925) died peacefully at home on July 9, 2011 surrounded by family and loved ones .Funeral services for Mr. Beckham will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Alabama Funeral Homes in Dadeville, AL with Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating. Graveside services with Military Honors will follow in Tallapoosa County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Monday, July 11, 2011 at Alabama Funeral Homes.

He is survived by his three sons: Hal Dwight Beckham, Jr. and wife Ronda (Alexander City); Donnie Beckham (Brewton,AL); Ronnie Beckham (Montgomery, AL); brother Huey  Beckham and wife Sara (Auburn, AL); five grandchildren: Leslie Beckham (Atlanta, GA); Brian Beckham and wife Stephanie (Atlanta, GA); Tammy Sharpe and husband Ronny (Ocean Springs,  MS); Trevor Youngblood (Oakdale, LA);Ryan Miller and wife Kaci (Notasulga, AL); five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as “The Sisters”.
