Funeral service for Mr. William Thomas “Bill” Humber, 74, of Alexander City, will be Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Dr. Bruce McClendon will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park. Veteran honors will be provided by the Alexander City Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 23, 2013 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Radney Funeral Home.

Mr. Humber passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Russell Medical Center. He was born on March 10, 1939 in Russell County, Alabama to William Lucius Humber and Maggie Mae Kent Humber. He was an active member of First Presbyterian Church. Mr. Humber enjoyed fishing, trains, Alabama football, yard work and going to church. He enjoyed spending time with friends and especially his grandchildren. Mr. Humber loved and enjoyed life to the fullest. He served many years as a Mason and as a part of the Rescue Squad.
