BAKER, Ronald Charles, age 64, passed away in his home surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. from Wetumpka City Cemetery with Rev. Tim Bass officiating and Wetumpka Memorial Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers include Winston Sides, Bobby Robinson, Alex Baker, Kevin Fondren, James Stroud and Jake Baker. Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Chalker, Wayne Bass, Larry Sims, Buddy Gross, Ken Ledbetter and Randy Payton. The family will receive friends for visitation at Wetumpka Memorial Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018, prior to graveside services. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Clayton Baker and Sarah Frances Bass Baker. He is survived by his twin brother, Donald Clayton Baker (Rhonda), and brother, Michael Craig Baker (Kim).
Ronnie was an avid fan of drag racing, 60’s rock and roll and the Alabama Crimson Tide. Ronnie was a wonderful son and brother and a friend to all who would allow him into their heart.
