Wayne Freeman, 72, of Dadeville (formerly of Opelika) passed away at his residence Monday, April 8, 2013.  A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, April 11 at Red Ridge United Methodist Church at 2:00 PM with the Rev. David Carboni officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 PM prior to the service

Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by his parents: J.C. Freeman and Noreen Freeman Mayfield and one sister: Retha Freeman May.  Mr. Freeman is survived by his wife of 48 years: Ann Freeman, two daughters: Lee Ann (Al) Freeman Scroggins and Beth Freeman, one granddaughter: Jordan Scroggins, one grandson: William Scroggins, one brother: Bobby (Faye) Freeman, one stepfather: J.C. Mayfield and a host of nieces and nephews.
