This morning I hit a landmark, the halfway point to my weight-loss goal, when the scale said I am 20 pounds lighter than when I started. Being a Type A, goal-oriented kind of guy, it made my day. Granted it was after a 3-mile run, so a pound or two may have been sweated out instead of burned.

I really don’t care. I got on the scale and it showed I was 20 pounds lighter. That’s worth a little celebration.
