It’s happening again: fuel costs are on the rise. According to AAA of Alabama the price of gasoline in the state is now around $2.45, which is up almost a half-dollar from a month ago and at least 80 cents from its lowest point in December.

For a 15-gallon gas tank, that will cost you about $37 per fill up, but that’s still better than last year’s mark. In 2008, it would cost you about $58 per trip to the gas station for the same size tank.
