Getting to know ‘Mawmaw’

My grandmother has to be one of the most interesting people in this world. I’m not sure if she is naturally funny or if it is the difference in generations that makes her so interesting to me.

I don’t think I really appreciated my grandmother whom I call “Mawmaw,” until recently. She lived in Reeltown until my grandfather died in 2005, then moved to Hillabee Towers in 2007. She lived there until this Christmas, when she moved into our house. Since I’m a full-time student at Auburn University, being home this summer is the first time I’ve really gotten to experience living with her. Man, has it been an experience!
