The Auburn Tigers defeated UL Monroe 48-14 on Saturday afternoon in a dominating performance against an inferior opponent. Payton Thorne tied a school record with five touchdown passes. Cam Coleman exhibited his 5-star status with 100 yards receiving and 3 touchdowns grabs and Jarquez Hunter went over 1000 yards rushing for the season.

It was a great day on both sides of the ball across the board. It was also against a mediocre team from the Sun Belt conference. The Tigers scheduled three lesser-than opponents this season and they have accounted for three of Auburn’s four victories. Alabama A&M (FCS), New Mexico and ULM have combined for a record of 15-16 this year and the Tigers outscored them by a combined 166 to 36.
