As college campus protests continue, an offer came from the Houthis, a Yemeni group that is indiscriminately attacking ships in the Red Sea. They are encouraging suspended students to come to Sanaa to study, according to Reuters. Perhaps it’s worth investigating what one would learn if one chooses to study under Hamas or the Houthis, or took the time to study these groups.
In the propaganda war, each side claims to be the more tolerant one, highlighting instances where they claim the other side is intolerant. To examine what is the case, I not only look at the U.S. Statement Department publications, but also research reports from human rights groups like Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and Freedom House,
