I absolutely love Christmas lights! It is a Christmas tradition that my family and I have enjoyed since I was a kid. Today, it tends to be just my husband and I riding along the county in search of Christmas displays but we definitely enjoy it.

Apparently, today’s Christmas lights evolved from the early practice of displaying lit candles on Christmas trees. A quick, unreliable Internet search shows that the first electrically lit Christmas tree was created by an associate inventor of Thomas Edison, Edward H. Johnson.
