Let me begin my column by saying this: As an Alabama student the past five football seasons, I had no idea how miserable I actually was while watching a game from the student section.

Watching a game in the Alabama press box that includes: breakfast, lunch, refreshments, no lines for the bathrooms, and most importantly air conditioning, puts the student section combination of heat, whiskey, crowdedness and possibly poor vision to shame.
