The media coverage of the Fifth Gaza-Israeli would have you believe it’s all about Jews killing Palestinian Arabs, and vice versa. This belies the terrible toll that Hamas has taken about the Palestinian people, in Israel and in their own enclaves. Perhaps if more knew this, greater effort would be taken to help the Palestinian people against Hamas, who regularly terrorizes their own.

One of the saddest stories of the attacks involves Awad Darawshe, a paramedic with the Yossi Ambulances. As Hamas attacked a music festival, Awad rushed in to provide medical attention despite the gunfire. The Yossi Ambulance team realized the danger to their own people, and ordered everyone to flee. But Darawshe tended to the wounded, and was gunned down while doing so according to his cousin who was there, as reported by Pamela Sampson with AP.
