We need to look beyond the labels

If I do not hear or see the words “conservative” or “liberal” for the remainder of my life I will be quite all right. I have absolutely no problem with the meanings of the words. I have a problem with the overuse and abuse of the words, obviously when it comes to politics. In my opinion, these words have been so overused that their meanings have been compromised. They are practically meaningless.

Due to this overuse and abuse we now have to wade through labels (let’s call it like we see it, they are labels) like, right-leaning, progressive, center-left, conservative, liberal, even conservative-liberal and liberal-conservative. What?
