When Lei Bledsoe was given an expected diagnosis, her sister made sure to honor her last wish.

Bledsoe’s sister, Amanda Hoffman, was her primary caregiver after her leukemia diagnosis. During her visit to the Dadeville Kiwanis Club, Hoffman described the experience of not only driving back and forth to UAB and going through bone marrow transplants, but of the community that supported her family in the process.
