With a new coach, Edgewood looks to continue excellence

The Edgewood Academy Wildcats volleyball team has a new coach, Morgan Harrelson, after Brad Starks left for Lee-Scott Academy following two championships. The Wildcats have won AISA state championships every year since 2019. Harrelson, a former collegiate player, is taking the helm for the first time.

The Wetumpka volleyball team is geared up for the upcoming season after finishing 16-17 last year. The seniors' departure has opened up leadership opportunities for the upcoming senior class. Cheyenne Boshell transitions from setter to right-side hitter, while Abi White takes on the role of setter for the team.
