Wetumpka's Cheyenne Boshell (11) enters her fourth season as a starting setter for the Indians.

The start of the high school volleyball season is right at the doorstep, and the Wetumpka volleyball team is ready to shine.

The Indians are coming off a 16-17 season, going 3-3 in Class 6A Area 4 play, which kept them out of making a berth at the AHSAA Class 6A regional tournament in Montgomery. They lose three seniors in Madison Young, Damiya Matthews and Bailey Wilson from last year's group, but the upcoming senior class is ready to take charge.
