A reset before the rush 

Most of y’all probably have not noticed, but I disappeared for the last week. For those wondering, I was on vacation. I went to Savannah, Georgia, visited Tybee Island (got burnt) and walked way too much over just a few days. And although not mentioned, I spent quite a bit of money. 

As I’m writing this, I’m still in Georgia, with plans to bounce around, see friends and spend time with my family throughout the process. I’m not making my triumphant return to Alabama until  the last minute, aka Sunday. Already, my mom has made some home-cooked meals I could never see myself having the time to make or actually get to taste as good as hers.
