On Wednesday, July 22, it was my anniversary. Not with my girlfriend or anything, just the other important part of my life that takes up most of my time — work. 

That’s right, I’ve been the sports editor for Tallapoosa Publishers for two years now. I feel as though I made this same joke last year where time here in Alexander City has not only felt like a lifetime, but also a blink at the same time. So much and so little has happened all at the same time it’s hard to believe it’s been two years since I’ve taken this job.
