It seems counterintuitive, but if you ask any coach, they’ll tell you they coach people more than they coach sports. Especially in youth sports, coaches are there as role models to lead their players into a successful life path, more so than they are there to lead them into championship wins. 

There are many emotions involved when any coach has the pleasure of watching his or her player move on in life, move on in their sport then return to reap the benefits within the community that raised them. That’s what happened with Stanhope Elmore football coach Hunter Adams, who has returned three of his former players to his coaching staff ahead of this season.
