If you were to ask Dadeville track and field coach Michael Taylor, who’s the best all-around athlete, male or female, at Dadeville High School? He knows his answer immediately would go to Arielle Russell.
Russell has her hands in just about everything with the Tigers, whether it be as a standout basketball player or her role on the track team — she’s successful. That sentiment took to another level over the weekend, where Rusell jumped a distance of 17 feet, 4.25 inches in the long jump, edging out the competition for the top finish in the Class 3A state meet.
