Edgewood baseball player inks commitment to Faulkner

Last week Edgewood Academy’s Jadon Quates, a recently graduated senior, announced he will be continuing his baseball and academic career at Faulkner University, inking his commitment on Monday. 

Quates was a key part of the Wildcats’ state championship run and a late addition to the team. Quates transferred into Edgewood just a few days before the eligibility deadline, joining his younger brother Pierson at the school. For that reason, Edgewood coach Justin Chandler didn’t get to know Quates or his capabilities much until the season actually began, which limited his playing time.
