Edgewood Academy’s baseball team posted one of its best seasons in years, reaching the AISA Class A State Championship. Although it fell short of bringing home a state championship, first-year coach Justin Chandler was extremely impressed with the heart and fight his team showed. Three players, however, stood out to Chandler.

Senior Kade Brannen, and juniors Alex Hamby and Colten Lashley were selected to the AISA’s baseball all-star team. Chandler was selected alongside his juniors, coaching them in the all-star game.
