Tallassee’s Brue Milner is on his way to becoming a household name in the world of baseball. The rising senior already inked his commitment to Georgia Tech last summer, and this summer he’s taking his talents to the national stage.Â
Perfect Game, a national organization dedicated to youth baseball and softball, has hosted its national showcase every year since 2001 and over 3,000 of its previous participants have been selected in the MLB draft. Milner, a top-ranked prospect in the class of 2027, attended the showcase at the Miami Marlin’s LoanDepot Park along with several other top prospects in his class from around the country.Â

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and
pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any
circumstances.
Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When
possible, reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or
evening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat
stoke. Wear light weight and loose fitting clothing when possible and
drink plenty of water.
To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
