Panthers make the most of summer OTAs

With just under a month to go until the start of the 2026 high school football season, coaches and players are spending countless hours in the scorching heat, trying to prepare for what is always a grueling marathon. Now into July, teams have progressed into live reps in organized team activities, which are essentially joint practices with simulated live game situations. 

Elmore County’s football team is in the midst of one of the toughest parts of the football season, just trying to get to August. The Panthers attended OTAs last week, one being at 17 Springs with Opelika and Stanhope Elmore.
