The Auburn Tigers will take on the Georgia Bulldogs for the 130th time on Saturday night at Jordan Hare Stadium in the Deep South’s oldest rivalry. Of course, it hasn’t been much of a rivalry as of late. The Bulldogs have won eight straight dating back to the SEC title game in 2017. They are 17-3 against the Tigers overall since 2006.

Hugh Freeze and company have had a week off to “reevaluate” AU’s sputtering offense and try to figure out how to get more production from its talented roster. The Tiger’s schedule becomes far more manageable in the second half of the season, so an upset of the Dawgs could be the beginning of a huge turnaround. Then again, that’s a lot easier said than done.
