As I’m sure most of us college football fans are aware, there are openings littered throughout the country. Some are definitely premier jobs, while others are essentially stepping stones to eventually get to the big leagues, AKA the Power Four jobs.

And, again, like we’ve all heard, Ole Miss’s Lane Kiffin is among the top of the list for the big ones. It’s hard not to see why, while with the Rebels, he’s built them into a playoff favorite year-in and year-out. But I can’t help but think staying in Mississippi is probably the best thing for him.
