Stanhope Elmore’s Bailey shines in North-South All-Stars

Heaven Bailey, Stanhope Elmore’s rising senior point guard, is on track to be one of Alabama’s top basketball prospects. Bailey’s stock has been rising quickly since the end of last basketball season when she led the Mustangs to their first Sweet 16 appearance in several years. This summer Bailey improved her status even more when she was selected to represent Stanhope Elmore in the AHSAA North-South All-Star girls basketball game. 

“(When I found out) I was so excited,” Bailey said. “I think I was surprised too, because out of all of the girls in southern Alabama, Mobile to Montgomery, they chose me. I was so excited. I was jumping up and down. I told literally everybody, it was just a great feeling to have.”
