through the playoffs and to the Sweet 16. Her impact is continuing to send ripples through the state as last week Bailey was recognized as an Alabama Sports Writers Association First Team All-State player. 

Bailey, a junior, was joined by Chelsea’s Caroline Brown, Fort Payne’s Kimri Craig, Hazel Green’s Kristen Johnson and Park Crossing’s Maliyah Meeks.

File / TPI Stanhope Elmore's Heaven Bailey was named to the Alabama Sports Writers Association first team all state last week. Bailey led the SEHS Mustangs to the regional finals this season, averaging 20 points and 10 assists.
