On Saturday, the Tallassee Tigers headed out to Holtville to take on the Bulldogs, searching for their first win of the season. The Tigers have struggled with pitching, allowing an average of 9.88 earned runs in five games. Saturday’s game at Holtville continued this trend with the Tigers losing, 12-2 after five innings. 

After the game, Tallassee coach John Goodman declined to comment on his team’s performance. For the Bulldogs (2-4), the game was their second win, lifting the team’s spirits after four tough losses in the first two weeks of the season.
