Wetumpka’s girls soccer program is a program that’s been on the rise for the last few years. Under coach Deron Fagan, the Indians have improved in virtually every aspect of the game. In 2025 Wetumpka posted a five-win season. In 2026, it posted a 10-win season. Although the seasons ended in the same result — a first-round playoff loss — the improvement is clear.

Senior goalkeeper Reagan Christensen has been a huge part of that improvement. Ever since she joined as a freshman, Christensen became a key aspect of the team and its potential success.
