The best teams and the best athletes have a tendency to rise to the occasion. But that’s easier said than done.

In a non-area matchup on the road, the Wetumpka Indians fell to Park Crossing, 65-55. Despite showing flashes of the team it’s been all season, Wetumpka did not display the same level of focus and effort that it has at various points this season. The Indians seemed to understand the assignment, as coach Steven Thomas pointed to tonight’s game as a test after last week’s win at Stanhope Elmore, but they didn’t deliver.
