A Tallassee man was in court last Tuesday hoping to get a bond reduction.

Tony Benson, 41, of Tallassee, was arrested Feb. 17 and charged with two counts of second-degree rape, one count of second-degree sodomy and one count of enticing a child. He was being held on a $500,000 cash bond in the Elmore County Jail.
