​To commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day, the National Park Service will hold a special program about the Normandy landings Thursday at 11 a.m., in Hangar 2 at the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site.

According to event organizers, noted researcher and historian Dr. Daniel Haulman, the chief of organizational histories at the Air Force Historical Research Agency, will present “Before the D-Day Dawn” in partnership with Friends of the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site Inc. The Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site is located at 1616 Chappie James Ave. in Tuskegee.
