Alabama sees largest rise in cases as ADPH number grows to 386

The number of positive confirmed cases of the coronavirus has increased to 386 confirmed cases statewide.

As of 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, there are nine cases in Elmore County, according to the Alabama Department of Public Health.

Jackson County reports first coronavirus-related death in Alabama

The Jackson County Commission reported the Alabama Department of Public Health confirmed a part-time county employee died after having contracted COVID-19. The commission made the announcement with a post on its Facebook page.
