Making a quilt from scratch with students has always been something Natasha McMillan has wanted to do with her students at Elmore County High School.

As a Family and Consumer Science teacher, McMillan has wanted to make a quilt to expand on sewing her classes. But she had to build up her sewing skills and confidence.
