Cliff Williams / TPI The Eclectic Town Council approved the installation of new fence at Aaron Park. The new six feet fence is meant to help with park security.

The council voted to go with Stepney Fence Company who had the lowest price. The company is owned by Jason Stepney who is currently running for city council and his wife is currently councilmember Stephanie Stepney who is running for mayor. Chris Evans is president of the Eclectic Youth Ball League who leases the park from the city. Evans and town officials had previously agreed to a fence with Evans seeking quotes. Evans received four quotes, but not without controversy.
