SOAR Inc. will turn up the grill at the city pool this summer as the organization combines the annual summer feeding program with outdoor activities for children of all ages from Tallassee and surrounding areas.
SOAR Inc. is planning to grill hot dogs and provide activities at the Tallassee City Pool from 6 to 8 p.m. June 24 and July 8 and 22, according to founder Andrus Love.
"We are looking to cook 100 plus hot dogs and provide a drink, plus chips, for all participants,” Love said. "Our swim activities are designed to promote a family-friendly type of environment. There will be organized activities like relay races, water basketball and volleyball competitions, and open swim time."
