It’s been 52 years since the L9000 Detroit Diesel tow truck of Jeff McWaters came off the assembly line. But it's  been only about a year since McWaters has had it.

The surprising thing is that for a decade or more, the truck sat in a lot in Georgia before McWaters purchased it.
