Three people forever connected to Tallassee High School are now in the THS Alumni Association’s Hall of Pride.
Two are graduates — Dr. James Riley Boddie, Class of 1968 and Dr. Denise Taunton Reid, Class of 1986. The late Dr. Jimmy Durden is not a graduate but was awarded a service award for his decades of service to students at the school, especially athletes. They were honored at an induction ceremony Sunday afternoon in the new Tallassee High School auditorium.
