One man is dead after a Friday night shooting in Jordanville in Tallassee.

The Tallassee Police Department responded to the 300 block of Second Avenue after shots rang out, according to Tallassee police Lt. Jon Rawls. At the same time Kenneth Lamar Spencer, 29, was brought to Community Hospital in Tallassee by a private vehicle with gunshot wounds. Rawls said Spencer was declared deceased at the hospital.
